Keith Wins the Merlin Award for
Mentalist of the Year 2009 !

As Keith continues to break new ground with his live and television work, the International Magicians Society has rewarded his hard work and innovation with a 'Merlin Award', the Oscar of the magic world, for “Mentalist of the Year 2009”. Pictured here with a delighted Keith is Tony Hassini, President of the IMS, presenting the Award.

On Sunday, Jan 18th, Keith was surprised in front of 1,250 people during one of his live shows in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin when his manager Eamonn Maguire interupted his live show to announce that he had won the award. Eamonn then introduced Mr. Tony Hassini, President of the International Magician's Society, who presented Keith with his award. Keith was totally delighted and honoured to receive the Award. 1,250 people gave Keith a 5 min Standing Ovation while he posed for photos and was completely overwhelmed by their reaction. Keith was slightly speechless before thanking his Manager, Eamonn Maguire for believing in him from the start, his Chief Magic Consultant Joe Hoey for his dedication and his family for their full support over the years especially his wife Mairead who always pushed him to succeed.

KEITH'S LAUNCH IN LAS VEGAS
Keith's hit show 'Keith Barry - Hypnomagician' launched on Oct 28th and ran successfully to Nov 27th at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
He will be returning to Las Vegas early in 2009.

Keith heads for Canada !

Keith is currently in Toronto for his all new live show 'HypnoMagician'.

Before he even gets on stage though - he's managed to freak out the press over there, checkout what the Toronto Star had to say when they had a rather unusual meeting with the man himself.

Keith has just been featured twice on the Paul O'Grady Show on Channel 4 in the UK where he did his signature Blindfold Drive with unaware contributors to the show.
He has also just returned from doing Promo for his upcoming shows in Toronto and is currently in Nice, France developing material for a new tv series.

After the success of Keith's ITV Primetime show, Keith Barry - The Escape LIVE, a few months ago in the UK, Keith is in negotiations with ITV once again to do another Primetime Special later in the year.

Keith's recent show at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas has led to negotiations to place Keith's live show in residence in Vegas by the year end.

Keith is in Canada currently doing promo for his upcoming Canadian dates on June 20th and 21st at the Bluma Appel Theater in Toronto. Check him out on Mix FM

This is the US Premier of “Keith Barry - Extraordinary”, Keith's first CBS Special which airs in Primetime at 8pm (PST). This Special sees Keith perform psychological illusions  with celebrities including Matthew McConaughey, Jessica Simpson,Elijah Wood and Wilmer Valderrama. The show is the first from the 4 year multi special deal with CBS and comes as a direct result of Keith's 2004 MTV debut show in the USA “Brainwashed”  which topped the ratings each time it aired on MTV

Keith is a guest on The Ellen DeGeneres Show at 4pm PST, 10am EST

A new episode of CSI Miami Premiered on CBS featuring Keith Barry as a Guest Star playing the part of Barry Judd,a thief and murder suspect. This was Keith's first major acting role and it is fitting that he debuts on the No. 1 TV show on the planet, CSI Miami.

RTE has moved Keith's show to a new starting date, the 7th November, Sunday night at 8.30pm RTE 1
