2008 is looking like Keith's most exciting year to date.
In the UK, Keith's highly successful ITV1 Primetime Special “Keith Barry - The Escape LIVE” went out on ITV at the start of the year on ITV 1 and will be followed up with a new ITV Primetime Special later this year.
With backing from Base Entertainment and Premier Exhibitions, Keith's live show previewed in Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas in May and is set to be resident in Las Vegas by the end of the year.
Outside of Las Vegas Keith is backed by Live Nation and they are launching Keith's live show “Keith Barry - Hypnomagician” in Toronto, Canada in June and in London, UK in July.
Keith will also be doing a live “Theatre” tour in Ireland in June/July and from July will feature in a new Childline campaign in Ireland with Abrakebabra.

After starring in his own show “Brainwashed” on MTV in the US, Keith Barry is poised to become one of the select magician and illusionists to enjoy mainstream stardom in the USA. Keith's talents range from sleight of hand effects (manipulating objects such as cards, coins, etc) to mind control effects (metal bending, reading people's minds) to the “beyond belief” (making it snow in Dublin, catching a bullet in his teeth and driving while blindfolded on a public road). The quick witted Irishman has also risen to fame in Europe following the success of his hit TV series, “Close Encounters with Keith Barry.” Keith will shoot 10 new shows of the hit TV series in Europe starting in July 04.

Keith started performing magic at the age of fourteen after purchasing a book entitled 'Magic for the complete Klutz' while on a school tour to Edinburgh.The first effect he learned from the book was the vanishing handkerchief and from that point onwards Keith knew what his destiny would be. He was working in the Kitchen Nightclub, owned by U2, where he attracted the attention of Eamonn Maguire who now manages Keith with Principle Management.

Over the past two years Keith has been back and forth between Ireland and the States. He is now based in Hollywood where he has become a fixture at A-list events while he dazzles everyone with his amazing skills. He has performed for a wide range of celebrities including Colin Farrell, Eve, Samuel L. Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Harrison Ford, The Osbournes, Method Man, Matthew Perry, Natasha Hendstridge, Carson Daly and numerous others. In October '03 he made his American television debut as a guest on ABC on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. He has also guested on The Sharon Osbourne Show and was invited back to The Jimmy Kimmel Show on St. Patrick's Day where he performed with Regis and Jimmy. The entertainment industry has really begun to take notice of this new Irish talent and MTV is working on the development of a full blown series to air later this year.
